Our vision goes further - towards spatially intelligent cobots that can do more than just grip precisely: they should understand their environment, react dynamically to changes and independently take on complex tasks in production.
Instead of fixed programs, cobots can flexibly adapt to assembly processes - for example, if components are slightly twisted or displaced. The cobot recognizes the situation and acts independently without the need for human intervention.
If a component falls off the conveyor belt or lies at an angle, the cobot can still grip and install it correctly - it understands what it sees and reacts like an experienced worker.
For products with many versions or individual configurations, cobots can automatically recognize which variant is present and select the appropriate assembly sequence - without any retooling or new programming.
Spatially intelligent cobots do not need precisely defined work spaces. They work with people, not alongside them - safely, adaptively and with the ability to learn.
