In modern production environments, classic automation solutions quickly reach their limits: changing lighting conditions, varying component shapes or minimal tolerance deviations often lead to failures. We have developed a system that addresses precisely this issue: We enable cobots to reliably detect and precisely manipulate objects regardless of color, ambient light and exact geometry. The result is an extremely robust and practical process that works reliably even in dynamic or unpredictable production environments.

New ways of intelligent automation

CogniDrive adopts a new, purely AI-based approach that can be used to train human-like abilities. The training phase generates robust models that enable the robot to orient itself in the environment and act according to instructions.

You use the software to train the task to be performed with one or two cameras on the robot arm - either manually or with the help of the wizard supplied.
An AI model is created from the training data and loaded into the controller.
The controller controls the robot during the activities for which it has been trained.
In areas that are not critical, you can program the robot via your teach panel as usual.

As a product manufacturer: Instead of waiting in vain for skilled workers, you can upgrade your robot and have it do things that could previously only be done by humans.

- Inserting and screwing PCBs into housings.
- Handling of any objects, including reflective objects, under any lighting conditions.

What will be possible with spatially intelligent cobots?

Assembly without fixed process flow

Instead of fixed programs, cobots can flexibly adapt assembly processes - for example, if components are slightly twisted or displaced. The cobot recognizes the situation and acts independently without the need for human intervention.

Reaction to unplanned situations

If a component falls off the conveyor belt or lies at an angle, the cobot can still grip and install it correctly - it understands what it sees and reacts like an experienced worker.

Automation of multi-variant production

For products with many versions or individual configurations, cobots can automatically recognize which variant is present and select the appropriate assembly sequence - without any retooling or new programming.

Simple integration into existing workstations

Spatially intelligent cobots do not need precisely defined work cells. They work closely with humans - safely, adaptively and adaptively.
